Archives Alston Moor has a rich and varied history and the Society has a good
stock of records, photographs, press cuttings and other artefacts of
interest to both the amateur and professional historian. Unfortunately
these are hard copy only and can only be accessed in person. The archives
are stored in the Alston Town Hall and may be visited by special arrangement
with the Society’s Archivist, Alistair Robertson (telephone 01434
