Archives

Alston Moor has a rich and varied history and the Society has a good stock of records, photographs, press cuttings and other artefacts of interest to both the amateur and professional historian. Unfortunately these are hard copy only and can only be accessed in person. The archives are stored in the Alston Town Hall and may be visited by special arrangement with the Society’s Archivist, Alistair Robertson (telephone 01434 381769).
